School Hall
The School Hall is a versatile space for assemblies, performances, and school events. With its spacious design and excellent acoustics, it serves as a hub for cultural, academic, and celebratory activities.
Representing India at the prestigious Cambridge Schools Debate, Cathedral’s team—Zaynah Lucien (9D) and Aaditya Agarwal (11D)—showcased exceptional skill on the global stage. Competing in the ESL (English as a Second Language) category, they also qualified for the Novice category in their first international tournament.
Dominating the preliminary rounds, they secured first place in three out of four debates and finished second in a closely contested match. Breaking 2nd out of over 80 teams, they made history as the only international team to advance to the semi-finals.
The Quilt was more than just an exhibition—it was a celebration of artistic expression, individuality, and the creative voices of seven talented IBDP Std 12 visual art students. Each artist curated their own unique exhibit within this metaphorical patchwork, weaving together diverse themes, perspectives, and styles into a stunning collective display.
A group of enthusiastic Std 7 students embarked on an enriching artistic journey at Shifting Visions: Teaching Modern Art at the Bombay School, an exhibition in collaboration with the J. J. School of Art.
Guided by expert curators from DAG, students explored the evolution of art education in colonial India and its lasting influence on contemporary artistic practices. Walking through the historic campus, they gained a deeper understanding of how drawing, painting, and crafts were taught over the years.
The Cathedral & John Connon School and Bombay Gymkhana Football Tournament was a resounding success, bringing together young footballers for a thrilling display of skill, sportsmanship, and teamwork. The tournament saw U-10 boys' and girls' teams from schools all across Mumbai, battle it out on the field, showcasing their passion and talent for the sport.
What started as a conversation with Project Mumbai has transformed into an inspiring student-led initiative at The Cathedral & John Connon School! Our young changemakers didn’t just hear about Mumbai’s wheelchair basketball team and their challenges—they took action.

The Science Laboratories provide a dynamic and well-equipped environment for students to explore the principles of biology, chemistry, and physics through hands-on learning. Featuring modern instruments, specialised apparatus, safety infrastructure, models, specimens, and experimental equipment, these spaces encourage practical exploration across the life and physical sciences. Designed to foster curiosity, analytical thinking, and scientific inquiry, the laboratories help students connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications in an engaging and controlled setting.
The Biology Lab provides a well-equipped environment for students to explore life sciences. With microscopes, preserved specimens, and models, it encourages hands-on learning in anatomy, ecology, and microbiology, fostering an understanding of the natural world.
