On 5th May and 19 August 2023, the Nature Club undertook beach cleanup activity at the Girgaum-Chowpatty Beach, to advocate environment conservation and sustainable development in the celebration of Earth Day 2023. The cleanup was organised in collaboration with the organisation “Change is Us” and comprised of the collection of several types of waste like plastic waste, thermocol, cloth waste, paper waste and marine debris from the beach. 

The cleanup served as an interesting way for students to play their part in environmental conservation, saving the local environment and helped them gain a new perspective on ecosystem preservation.
