The Art Students of the Senior School visited Tarq Art Gallery this afternoon to view Sameer Kulavoor’s exhibition ‘Edifice Complex’, which explores the complicated relationship between humans and their built environment. Kulavoor personally guided the students through the exhibition and facilitated a discussion on the creative process and interpretations of the pieces. The students were captivated by the intricate details and vibrant colors used in Kulavoor’s portrayal of Mumbai’s cityscape and architecture. Students also got the opportunity to view sketches and collages which highlighted Kulavoor’s artistic vision and process. Overall, the students found the exhibition “thought-provoking and enriching".
