Forganic Farm
Trip to Forganic Farm
The day trip started with the contingent setting off in the early hours of the morning to arrive at our destination by 10 am. A lot of activities were planned including Warli painting, paddy sowing, drawing well water and so on. The students had a test of courage as they crossed the Bermuda Bridge suspended over the lake present in the campus and held earthworms while learning about bio composting, organic farming and hydroponics. The teams were also led along farm trails and stream trails wherein they trekked upwards along a streams path. Complementing the atmosphere of the Gazebo- the highest point in the farms, was the sudden rain which left many unsuspecting students completely drenched.
