After years of planning, engineering, and hard work, a long-awaited dream finally came true on October 30th, 2023. The Cathedral & John Connon School, which is one of Mumbai’s oldest and most prestigious schools, celebrated a momentous day with the inauguration of a beautiful four-story edifice of learning. The new building was inaugurated by Mr. Solomon Raj Sathia, the Chairman of the School’s Board of Governors and a plaque, marking the special occasion was also unveiled.

The Grade II heritage structure, built in 1904, has retained the character that defines neo-classic buildings, with Nandini Somaya Sampat of SNK Somaya & Kalappa as the principal architect.

The new edifice amalgamates the quintessential heritage character of the building with the energy of modernity by integrating traditional and contemporary features. It is thoughtfully designed with state-of-the-art facilities, reflecting the institution’s unwavering commitment to providing quality education in an optimal environment.
