International USA Open and Junior Cup 2023
International USA Open and Junior Cup 2023
Amara Jalan (Class 4K of Junior School) and Alesia Jalan (8D of Senior School) participated in the prestigious International USA Open and Junior Cup 2023 which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA in April 2023. The two girls won 6 medals between them. Alesia won 4 medals - one gold, one silver and two bronze medals, and won 2 bronze medals in the 9-year-old girls category. She was the youngest participant of the Indian contingent.
The event had over 1200 participants from 42 nations across categories.

Indikarting had organised a championship event at Ahmedabad circuit for 4 stroke go karting on 19th March 2023. Aahil Mecklai (student of 9B) took part in the same in the Junior category. 3 races of 30 laps each. Aahil secured first position in 2 races and came 2nd in one giving him the points needed to win the overall Junior Championships which he did.

Vritika Sampat ( Girls - U17) stood 1st in 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke and 200m backstroke at the DSO swim meet. She came 2nd in 400m individual medley and 3rd in 200m backstroke at the ISSO National Games.
At the Anglo Interschool swimming competition, she got gold in 4x25m free style relay and medley, silver in 25m butterfly and 50m Butterfly, and a bronze in 50m backstroke.
At the DSO Zonals, she came 2nd in 50m backstroke and qualified for the states meet. She also came 3rd in 200m backstroke

Aum Gujarati - World Skate Games & Maharashtra State Skating Championship
Aum Gujarati - World Skate Games & Maharashtra State Skating Championship
After winning a Gold Medal at the 2021 National Roller Skating Competition, Aum Gujarati (7A) was shortlisted for a national camp and trial for the World Skate Games. She attended two selection camps in June and September 2022 along with other skaters from all over India. She was then chosen to be a part of a 25 member team that would represent India at the World Skate Games 2022.
The World Skate Games 2022 were held from 24th October to 14th November 2022 in Buenos Aires and San Juan, Argentina. The Indian team performed well, and Aum had a successful run at the World Skate Games. She now holds 5th position in her category.
On her arrival in Mumbai, she participated in the 32nd Maharashtra State Skating Championship where she won a gold medal.

At the 6th CISCE Zonal Badminton Tournament, Darius Pardiwala stood first and Hridhay Tejura stood 4th in the Boys U-19 category. The duo was selected to represent Mumbai at the Regional level, where once again, Darius finished 1st and Hridhay 4th.
Cathedral won the School Championship Trophy for the best CISCE school for Badminton in Maharashtra. Darius and Hridhay were notably selected to be a part of the U-19 Maharashtra team for the National Badminton Tournament in Bengaluru.

Rishab Shah stood 1st at the ICSE Chess National and State level tournament.

In the COUNCIL’s NATIONAL SPORTS and GAMES 2018 in the State of Maharashtra organized by the Council for the ICSE schools of India, she won the following in U/17 age category:
1) Second in 100m and Equaled the Meet Record (EQM)

Sumeir Zaveri - One of the Promising 30 Best Under 16 school cricketers
Sumeir Zaveri was selected as one of Mumbai’s Best Under 16 School Cricketers of the Year by Hindustan Times and MSSA.
He was picked by an expert jury, headed by former India batsman, Sanjay Manjrekar who scanned the performances of the brightest school circle to identify the most promising 30.
