SUPW Leadership Camp 2019
Students of 12th Std ISC went for a Leadership camp (1st to 4th March) to Jawhar in Palghar (Rural Maharashtra). The main aim of the camp was to dig pits for sapplings to be planted during the monsoon.
Students, under the guidance of Dr. Gokani dug a total of 90 pits in the Nagarmonda village. The trees will be planted around the village school (Zilla Parishad Prathmik Shala) and in nearby fields. They also made presentations and took part in discussions and debates.
Evenings were spent in playing games, stargazing, camp fire’s and sing-alongs. The camp ended with a cross country run along with the village children and students got an opportunity to interact with them over breakfast.
