Liquid Nitrogen Show organised by Nehru Science Centre

On 27th October 2018, Nehru Science Centre organised a liquid nitrogen show specially for the students of The Cathedral and John connon school. 40 students from grade VIII witnessed the spectacular effect of liquid nitrogen on the properties of other substances. Children were awed by the extent to which liquid nitrogen affected the expansion, contraction and superconductivity of other substances.  The students also got an opportunity to see the Van De Graff generator and did some experiments on static electricity. This was an experience they will never forget in their lives.
