Twenty-seven students of Std. X, XI and XII along with Ms. Shah attended an informative session on finance conducted by Julius Baer on April 27, 2018 from 10a.m. to 4 p.m. This session was organized with the help of Mr. Parthiv Kilachand.

The session started with an introduction by Mr. Anand Khatau (MD – Julius Baer) and Mr. Anup Maheshwari (CIO – DSP Blackrock AMC). Mr. Amit Grover then carried forward the session with insights into the world of finance. The session included topics ranging from ‘investment avenues like debt, equities and gold’ to ‘what to look for before investing’ to ‘portfolio management’.

Mrs. Aditi Kothari Desai (Director and Head Marketing and Sales – DSP Blackrock AMC and Cathedral Alumni) shared her journey in the world of finance and gave insights on the various career options available for our students in finance.

The session was informative, fun, interactive and quite an eye-opener for our students. Std. XII students were able to connect their theoretical learning from Commerce classes with real world inputs and examples from the session today. Std. X and XI students were exposed to learning about finance terminologies they may have read or heard but never really understood.
