The students of the Std 7, over a period of time, were taken to the Jai Vakeel School where differently abled children are educated. This project was taken up this year to sensitise our children to the many others of their age who are differently abled. After reaching the school, each student was given a ‘buddy’ to work with. They did small activities together like hand painting, puppet making, finger painting, etc. The students realised that these children had different talents and were really good at their work. This excursion helped them to be thankful and satisfied with whatever they have, and be also lend a helping hand to those in in need. Many of them came back – determined to help these children in different ways.
