Avni Vats: 44/45
The IB diploma program was a really fun, fulfilling and fascinating experience. While it was challenging at times, having friendly and supportive teachers made it easier to navigate the IB. I think the most important takeaway for me is the importance of consistency and communication. I’ve learnt that a little always goes a long way whether it’s clarifying a doubt or completing a small part of an assignment each day.
Nitika Desai: 44/45
My IB journey has been an extremely fulfilling experience since it pushed me academically and personally to excel.
Consistency, hard work and good time management have been the cornerstones of my success, both in terms of my results as well as practical knowledge. The overarching highlights were the friendships and memories I forged during this invaluable experience.
IBDP Results 2021
The Cathedral and John Connon School is proud to announce the results of the 5th batch of IBDP May examination, 2021.
With the entire cohort of 41 students having achieved the diploma, the overall average is 40 points.
Two students, Ananya Purushottam and Ayush Jain, have scored a perfect 45.
Ananya Purushottam
Talking about her perfect score of 45, Ananya said:
“Two years of citing sources, deciphering TOK essay titles, complaining about IA deadlines, and working hard on (most) nights, has brought me here. Tackling the IBDP programme with some of the best teachers and classmates I’ve ever had made even the most exhausting all-nighters enjoyable. Hard work, seeking help from your teachers, and knowing what (not) to do are the three most crucial components to getting a perfect 45 in the IBDP.”
Ayush Jain
Talking about his perfect score of 45, Ayush said:
“My score was a culmination of 2 years of hard work and consistent practice, and I truly believe that every student has the potential to achieve the same. With the ever-present support of all my IB teachers, no task was ever too hard. I’ll never forget my time in the IBDP!”
